Programme Note
The string parts may be played by multiple instruments, i.e. the piece may be played by chamber orchestra. If played solo, they may need amplification.
Ideally the instruments should be divided into three groups:
1) woodwind
2) brass
3) solo piano and strings
placed in three locations as far apart as possible in the performance space.
In this case they would all need to play to click tracks with no conductor, with computer visual aids for each group.
The piece is essentially one movement, divided into three sections.
