Programme Note
Composer note:
The title of this piece reflects the goal of putting together purportedly incompatible, mutually contradicting sound materials. Different episodes come out for and against such coexistence. But gradually, as things move on in time, it becomes clear that all these diametrically directed forces have their roots in one common to all spheres: in the intonations of the Russian holy hymn ‘Alleluia.’
