Programme Note
Robert Kapilow’s Union Station was premiered by the Kansas City Symphony on May 26, 2000. The work utilizes sound effects, an 80-voice chorus, character actors and narrations to tell the story of the Kansas City landmark from its inception in 1914 to its present-day incarnation.
