Tavener renews contract
Sir John Tavener has renewed his long term exclusive relationship with Chester Music, part of The Music Sales Group. Tavener has had a relationship with the company all of his composing life, a period that has given birth to landmark repertoire pieces such as: The Whale; The Protecting Veil; Ultimos Ritos; Fall and Resurrection; The Veil of the Temple and a continuing catalogue of compelling, beautiful and profoundly felt choral music. Among the choral music we find gems such as The Lamb and Song for Athene and more recently, those works inspired by texts from many different religious traditions and philosophies. Tavener’s music appeals to millions of people around the world. It has been commissioned by international presenters, as well as HRH The Prince of Wales.
