Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway have commissioned a new work from Mark Adamo to premiere at the National Flute Association Annual Convention at their August 14 Gala Concert honouring Sir Galway with their Lifetime Achievement Award. Adamo’s Concertino for Two Flutes and String Quintet is in three movements, each one paying tribute to a pair of well-known lovers.
