The XXII Festival Internacional de Primavera de Música Actual en Salamanca (XXII International Spring Festival of Contemporary Music in Salamanca) will witness the performance of the work Gris, a propósito de ti by Spanish composer Ramón Paus. Manuel Guillén (violin) and Sebastián Mariné (piano) will present this piece for the audience in Salamanca, after their performance at the World Premiere in September 2012 at Teatros del Canal (Madrid).
In the composer’s words:
“I never thought the colour grey was sad, I rather associate it to seaside landscapes. Maybe I was looking for some calmness, hidden behind the surname of the famous cubist painter (Juan Gris).”
