A new world premiere recording of composer Benet Casablancas works has been released this week on Naxos. The CD includes the composer’s recent piano repertoire with UME copyrights like Sí, a Montsalvatge, Haiku para Zurbarán, Lamento, Jubilus and Tres Haikus (de la segunda colección), performed by the prestigious pianist Carlos Apellániz, as well as other works with different instrumentation.
Benet Casablancas’s piano music is considered to be referential among the works composed for this instrument.
