The final event in Bryce Dessner's residency at the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is a three-day festival curated by the composer himself. The weekend features a diverse selection of work by Dessner highlighting the breath and diversity of his output. The event opens with a screening of the Oscar winning film The Revenant, for which Dessner partly wrote the score. A chamber music concert includes two country premieres as well as two works originally commissioned by Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The closing event will be a performance of one of Dessner's most unique projects, Black Mountain Songs, an expansive choral / visual work composed by eight composers and curated by Dessner and Richard Reed Parry.
