On 18th November the WDR Funkhausorchester Köln, conducted by Frank Strobel, present an evening of music entitled Minimal Compositions. As part of the programme they present the country premiere of Domino, a piano concerto by Ludovico Einaudi which the orchestra jointly commissioned with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme also includes the country premiere of Symphony No. 5 by Michael Nyman as well as music by Gordon Hamilton, Michael Torke and John Adams.
