His new composition, Impermanence, commissioned by Sydney Dance Company and the Australian String Quartet for Rafael Bonachela’s homonymous work, will premiere at Sydney’s Roslyn Packer Theatre on 21 March through to 4 April 2020. This will be followed up by a tour across Australia in June and July 2020. The work marks the second collaboration between Bonacella and Dessner.
