On 8 May, the Swiss premiere of opera Florencia en el Amazonas by Daniel Catán will take place at UM!BAU St. Gallen. The St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra and the choir of the St. Gallen Theatre will perform under the direction of Pedro Halffter, the opera will be staged by Krystian Ladax. Tickets can be purchased on the homepage of Theater St. Gallen.
Florencia en el Amazonas is the most frequently performed opera of Daniel Catán. It has travelled the world in over 20 different productions since its premiere in 1996.
