The world premiere of Good Vibrations, an original score by Christopher Austin commissioned by The Houston Ballet for acclaimed choreographer Arthur Pita, will receive its long-awaited premiere on 22nd September. Originally set to debut in the 2019-2020 season, this new work is the first time Pita has been commissioned to make work on Houston Ballet and the first time with original music by Austin, with whom he worked as an orchestrator on his ballet Wind for the Royal Ballet. With references to The Beach Boys’ legendary song 'Good Vibrations', this new work promises not to disappoint.
