Next weekend in Sydney, Omega Ensemble presents Missy Mazzoli’s haunting Grammy-nominated double bass concerto Dark with Excessive Bright. Jaan Pallandi is the soloist in this energetic concerto which was originally co-commissioned by the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Aurora Orchestra in London.
