Tapiola Chamber Choir premieres Saariaho's Tag des Jahres

Tag des Jahrs by Kaija Saariaho is a work for a capella chorus and electronics based on poems by Friedrich Hölderlin. It has been commissioned by the Tapiola Chamber Choir and the Helsinki Chamber Choir Week. The World Premiere will take place on 9 November in Helsinki with the Tapiola Chamber Choir conducted by Hannu Norjanen followed by its German Premiere at the Berliner Festspiele on 12 November 2002 with the Rundfunkchor Berlin conducted by Simon Halsey.
