Programme Note
The sharp end of night is a piece for solo violin written especially for David Alberman by way of an enormous thank you for his, frankly, breathtaking playing and acting in my music theatre piece: "Who put Bella in the Wych elm?". The music is derived entirely from the violin part of that piece. It's just over 6 minutes long.
