Programme Note
A commission by the prestigious Spanish pianist Daniel Ligorio, Si A Montsalvatge! is a homage for the great Catalonian composer in the year of his hundredth anniversary. Benet Casablancas dedicates this solo for piano to one of his closest friends. This work was world premiered on 3rd July 2012 at the Catalunya Library (Barcelona).
