The original version of Triathlon for Saxophone and Orchestra was commissioned by the San Francisco Symphony with the generous support of Michèle and Larry Corash. This version for Saxophone and Wind Ensemble was commissioned by University of Texas at Austin, the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and the Dallas Winds.
