Programme Note
Triode Variations is a 30–minute work for large ensemble. The scientific area of electronic triodes has informed this composition. Sudden changes in tension are applied to the smallest fragments of music whereby rhythm, meter, and tempo are altered constantly, resulting in a highly complex and exciting work.
