Programme Note

The piece allows the very last, most fragile, most delicate, most unstable sound signatures of a music ‘In Disappearance’ to be observed and experienced transparently, defencelessly.

It concerns all temporal, tonal, formal phenomena on the one hand and on the other hand reveals, feverishly unfolds the most intense compositional spaces between time.

The approach correlates with one of the central concepts of the Gospel in general and with the following pericope in Luke in particular:

"And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight." (Luke 24, 30-31)
