Programme Note
Recently I reworked and combined two independent piano solos written between 2002 and 2004 in order to complete a period of intensive exploration of the specific sound spectrum of the piano. The different materials of the three movements have a similar 'intention' in common, which I can only describe in more detail with a reference to the colour 'crimson'.
