Programme Note
The opera was comissioned in 2021 by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for their Cornwall Residencies. The opera was composed during the covid pandemic.
A haunting yet playful story told through music and song inspired by folklore, home, mining, memories, and mischief. The audience is warmly invited to join in, sing or play along.
