Coo-Cooooo-Coo? Where, where?

Coo-Cooooo-Coo?  Where, where? was inspired by Doggerland, a vast ‘Garden of Eden’ that once connected the east coast of England with the European mainland, until it disappeared under a rising sea around 5000 BC. 

Music and animation took inspiration from the sounds and the movement of the living creatures who lived in a Doggerland, and reflects upon the struggle for survival of individuals, the collective and ultimately, the ecosystem upon which we depend. 

The piece was created in close collaboration with animator Elizabeth Hobbs and is written for Juliet Fraser and Hannah Weirich.
